Replacement purifier cartridges of GEOPRESS have a lifespan of 350 cycles (65 gal. / 250L) but this may reduce when filtering water with high levels of silt, sediment or tannins. As the cartridge nears the end of its lifespan, the press time will increase to 25-30 seconds, indicating that it's time for replacement. However, even as the press time increases, the cartridge continues to provide protection.
